Finding Steadiness During Difficult Times

‍ I’m Cristin Hofer, a bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker at OPICA Adult Day Program and Counseling Center. For over nine years, I’ve helped people feel supported and more grounded in therapy during difficult times. I genuinely love my work and strive to create a warm, accepting space where you can show up as you are.

I work with people across the lifespan navigating anxiety, grief, relationship changes, and life transitions. I tailor therapy to your needs, strengths, and experiences.

I also specialize in early-stage memory loss, Mild Cognitive Impairment, traumatic brain injury, and supporting caregivers through burnout, anticipatory grief, and changing relationships.

Tailored Therapy Provided by a Trained Master’s Level Dementia Expert

Rooted in a range of evidence-based approaches, my therapeutic practice offers a safe and supportive space to explore the challenges that can accompany Anxiety, Life Transitions, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI),Traumatic Brain Injury, Memory Loss, Dementia, and Caregiving.

When life changes, relationships change too. Roles evolve, family dynamics shift, and emotions can become complicated. I am here to help you navigate these changes and make space for the experiences that may come with them, including caregiver and anticipatory grief, anxiety, confusion, frustration, depression, and the many emotions that don’t always have an easy name.

In my practice, no one has to navigate these changes alone.
